Wallace Peterson is a 69-year-old Caucasian male with a history of COPD who has had multiple hospitalizations for the treatment of bronchitis and pneumonia. He was referred to home health by his primary care provider for assessment of his condition and further health education/counseling. During this scenario, learners must assess and provide interventions for a homecare patient with a history of COPD.
