SUC Rhabdomyolysis

The patient presents to the clinic with body aches. Perform a history, exam, and appropriate assessment. Develop a differential diagnosis, perform testing to confirm or rule out possible emergent conditions, and arrange transport to the next level of care if appropriate.

– Obtain an appropriate history, including pertinent positives and negatives related to the chief complaint

– Perform a focused physical exam

– Develop a differential diagnosis based on the history and physical exam

– Perform indicated point-of-care testing to inform a potential diagnosis

– When appropriate, use teleconsultation to guide management decisions

– When appropriate, arrange for evacuation for definitive care
